Crystal Palace will clash heads with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday night, hoping to pick up a positive result on their travels. The Eagles will be heading into the contest on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, whereas the Reds recorded a 3-0 win against Burnley.

Roy Hodgson will probably opt for the 4-3-3 formation; however, he might keep changes to a minimum for the upcoming away clash.

Vincente Guaita will operate in between the sticks for the upcoming away encounter. The Spanish shot-stopper will hope to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Sunday.

James Tomkins will form the centre-half partnership with Gary Cahill at the heart of Palace’s backline.

Tyrick Mitchell will start at the left-back position, whereas Joel Ward will continue to feature on the other flank as the right-back. The full-backs will be expected to stay compact and keep their shape defensively.

Cheikhou Kouyate might start in the holding midfield position and be assigned more of a defensive role to shield the away side’s back-four.

James McCarthy will slot into the central midfield role, whereas Jeffrey Schlupp is expected to start in the attacking midfield position. The duo would be determined to set up some clear cut goal scoring chances for the front men.

Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend will take up the wide positions, playing on the left and right-wing respectively.

Christian Benteke will lead the line for the visitors against Liverpool. The Belgium international will be hoping to get his name on the scoresheet when he faces off against the Liverpool defence that has kept two clean sheets in their last five league games.
