Watford started their season in mixed fashion, having won three of their first seven matches while drawing three more and losing the one solitary game. Though they have a very good backline and an efficient goalkeeper in the form of Heurelho Gomes playing for them, it is imperative for them to find a replacement for the veteran Brazilian who will be equally agile and dependable under the crossbars. The 22-year-old is not an unfamiliar face in the Premier League and played the last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.
