Manchester City are currently facing a huge moment of crisis in their defence, with one of the mainstays in the backline, Benjamin Mendy, being sidelined for the next seven months with a ruptured cruciate ligament. This has left the Citizens search of a viable replacement for the Frenchman, who will be able to play with the same amount of dedication and vigour that Mendy showed since his arrival at the club from the start of the season.
