Pep Guardiola claimed that yesterday’s defeat was not the worst in his career. Barcelona thrashed Manchester City 4-0 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Guardiola’s return to Nou Camp turned out to be a bitter experience as The Catalans romped in four goals past Claudio Bravo who incidentally arrived from Barcelona this season. The keeper received the marching order from the referee after he handled the ball outside the penalty box.

Pep revealed the loss against Real Madrid in 2014 was his worst defeat. “The worst defeat of my career was with Bayern against Madrid, It was the whole situation and the mistakes I made with the starting line-up.”

The Spaniard was at the helm of Bayern Munich when they lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinal.

Pep choose to start Kevin De Bruyne instead of in-form Sergio Aguero and the decision had completely gone reverse.

“Last time with Bayern [in 2014] we didn’t create chances but today we did, we created chances to score one or two goals, But Barca can punish you, they have a lot of quality. We controlled, except the goal,” He further added.
