Transfer window might be over but rumours have been pouring in. Manchester United have joined in the race with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City to sign teenage striker Alexander Isak. The Swedish forward who has been compared to national legend ‘Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ has scored 12 goals so far for AIK Solna.
Liverpool have started the season in high fashion winning four League games on a trot but played a goalless draw against Manchester United. With the addition of Sadio Mane, who has already scored three times, Liverpool have turned to one of the fieriest attacking units although an absence of a proper striker could hurt The Reds in upcoming days. Daniel Sturridge is very injury prone and Klopp can’t entirely depend on him . Isak’s arrival will be a big boost for them.
Manchester United have impressed in patches so far this season. Mourinho signed Zlatan from Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer. The striker did manage to score in the early phase but hasn’t found the net in his last couple of matches.
It would be very hard for United as the striker is also being chased by Leicester City, Bayern Munich and Madrid.
