Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly interested in Torino forward Andrea Belotti. The 22-year old Italian has scored 12 goals last season and has also netted four times in this season.
Belotti made his debut for the national team in September. He scored a hat-trick in Torino’s 5-1 win over Bologna in Serie A recently. Belotti moved to Torino from Palermo in 2015 and has developed really well.
Arsene Wenger has brought in striker Lucas Perez as Olivier Giroud is very inconsistent. They also have Dany Welbeck whom they had signed from Manchester United but his career seems to be plagued by injuries.
Jürgen Klopp, on the other hand, could be in the search of a goal poacher after selling Christian Benteke to Crystal Palace. Belotti has some really good pace which would help him to cope with the pace of Premier League.
Liverpool have a very good striker in Daniel Sturridge but Klopp wants a backup as Sturridge is very injury prone. Belotti has a price tag of £12.5million and that shouldn’t be a problem for either of the clubs.
