Bournemouth are finding themselves in deep waters so far this season, having lost five out of their first six matches. The Cherries are now stranded on the 19th position in the league table and are looking for a turnaround in their next matches of the season.
The South Coast club, who brought in Jermain Defoe and Nathan Ake to strengthen their team for the new season, have done everything wrong from the word go and now find themselves in the dreaded relegation zone. They have only scored two goals this season so far, the second one coming in their last match against Everton, scored by their Norwegian forward Joshua King.
However, speculations are rife that the Toffees might be on the verge of signing the Bournemouth striker in the forthcoming transfer window, looking to give their attacking lineup a much-needed impetus, which they have been missing since the start of this season. This has irked the Cherries to look for a new player who can replace the Norwegian international in January and they are eyeing the West Bromwich Albion forward Tyler Roberts, who is currently sent on loan to play for the League One club Walsall FC.
The 18-year-old player has been one of the most promising talents at the disposal of the Baggies and is sent on loan to play for a number of clubs in the Championship as well as League One, to gain some much needed first team experience.
However, the player is scheduled to return to the Hawthorns in the winter and might be pounced on by the Cherries, who are in search of a quality player to add to their attacking lineup and the young Welshman can be the perfect player to fit their bill.
Known for his brisk pace and delightful skills with and without the ball, the 18-year-old forward can create ample amount of trouble for the opposition defenders and can strike the ball with enough power to find the back of the net. He can also mesmerise the opponents with his brilliant dribbling and make darting runs into the attacking third, putting the ball into the net to score goals for his side on a consistent basis.
The man in charge at Dean Court, Eddie Howe is one of the wiliest managers in the Premier league, inspiring his side to a ninth-place finish on the league table against all odds in the last term. He will once again look to achieve a substantial finish this season and will be hoping that the addition of Tyler Roberts might help him in that.
