It is going to be one of the biggest games of the season in the Premier League when two of the top teams in the competition take on each other this weekend. Arch rivals Chelsea and Arsenal will be vying against each other for three important points in a match, which is definitely going to light up Stamford Bridge in the second London derby of the season.
Chelsea are in very good form of late, having won three of their four matches in the competition and are looking to extend their winning run with another victory over their arch-rivals from the northern part of the city. They will look to play at the best of their abilities and restrict the Gunners from coming out all guns blazing.
However, Arsenal will also look to make it two wins in two matches after a rather dismal start to the season, incurring two losses in their first four games of the term. The North Londoners have looked far from their best in their approach so far this season but regained some of it in their last match against Bournemouth, winning it 3-0. Against Chelsea, though, it will be a different ball game altogether, as the Blues will be up for three points from the contest.
Some of the key battles that every eye will be on might be-
Alexandre Lacazette vs David Luiz-
The Frenchman has scored two goals so far in his debut season in the Premier League and will look to add to his tally in the next game against their arch-rivals. However, the player will have to face the stern test of making it past the Brazilian center back David Luiz for that. It will be an exciting contest nevertheless.
Granit Xhaka vs N’Golo Kante-
The French enforcer has been at the top of his game and has also notched up his first goal of the season in the last match against his former team Leicester City. The onus of keeping him under check will be on the Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka as the two will vie for midfield dominance in the next match.
Alvaro Morata vs Laurent Koscielny-
The Spanish striker has already started to show his class in the Premier League and will be raring to go against the Gunners to clinch another goal to add to his tally. However, the wily French defender will look to stop him and keep him under control in what is expected to be one of the biggest contests of this season.
