Manchester United will look to continue their dominant run in the Premier League over their opponents so as to boost their chances to a 14th Premier League title. They will be up for their fourth win of the campaign when they take on a rather demoralized Everton side in their next match in their own backyard.
The Toffees have been in far from their best form in the opening half in the Premier League so far and have lost two out of their first four matches in the competition, beaten by Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in consecutive matches. However, they will look to give it everything and vie for three points when they play the Red Devils at Old Trafford this weekend.
Team News-
Manchester United-
The former Premier League champions will be without the services of their French star Paul Pogba, who limped off the field during their last match in the Champions League against FC Basel. Their manager Jose Mourinho might turn to former Everton player Marouane Fellaini to star in his place, who came off the bench to score against Basel in a 3-0 victory.
Everton-
The Toffees also have a number of injuries on the list, with regular right-back Seamus Coleman still out of action. They will look to start with the same lineup but might look to play former Red Devils’ legend Wayne Rooney as their main striker in place of Sandro Ramirez, who might be replaced by exuberant forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Key Players-
Manchester United-
The present league leaders will be looking to get past their opponents depending on the good form of their attacking spearhead Romelu Lukaku, who came into the side from Everton in the summer transfer window. The Belgian marksman has already scored four goals and is the present top scorer in the league, looking to continue his dominance in the next match as well.
Everton-
The Merseyside club have scored only two goals this season so far, the spearhead of their strike force Wayne Rooney being the scorer on both the occasions. The former Manchester United player and the top scorer in the history of their club will look to score against his former club and bring them back to winning ways but it is going to be a hectic task for them nevertheless.
