Manchester City faced off against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a win in the FA Cup final. The Mancunian giants made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Antoine Semenyo finally broke the deadlock in the 71st minute as the contest finished with Pep Guardiola’s men securing a narrow 1-0 win in the final.

Trafford made a couple of good saves at the back and did enough to secure the clean sheet.
RB: Matheus Nunes – 7/10
He cleared his lines when needed and was a dominant presence in the air.
CB: Abdukodir Khusanov – 7/10
Khusanov dealt with the danger when he could and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.
CB: Marc Guehi – 7.5/10
He was a rock at the back and was a good presence on the ball.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 7/10
He caught the eye at times on the left flank, but there was no goal for him today.
CM: Rodri – 6.5/10
Rodri ran the show well for Man City from midfield and was replaced after the hour mark.
CM: Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10
He worked his socks off at both ends of the field.
RW: Antoine Semenyo – 7.5/10
Semenyo was not shy of having a strike at goal and scored the only goal of the contest in the 71st minute.
CAM: Omar Marmoush – 6/10
He struggled to get into the flow of the game and was replaced at half-time.
LW: Jeremy Doku – 7.5/10
Doku made a lot of dangerous runs with the ball and was tidy with his passing.
ST: Erling Haaland – 7.5/10
He was strong in the air and managed to earn an assist for setting up Semenyo’s winner.
