Liverpool welcomed Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 41st minute when Ryan Gravenberch found the back of the net. Florian Wirtz doubled Liverpool’s advantage just a minute later as Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Santiago Bueno got a goal back for the visitors in the 51st minute as the contest finished with Liverpool securing a narrow 2-1 win at Anfield.

He caught the eye at times on both ends of the pitch.
