The 18-year-old has come through the youth ranks of the Greek club and has done well to establish himself as a key member of their senior team. Mouzakitis has already featured in 52 matches for Olympiacos thus far, scoring two goals and picking up six assists in the process across all fronts.

The talented teenager is currently among the best young midfielders in Greek football. Hence, it is no surprise that Real Madrid are hoping to get him on board next year.

Real Madrid Are Eyeing A Move For Mouzakitis: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Mouzakitis doesn’t mind working hard for his team defensively and can shoot the ball with venom from long range. He has got the vision to engineer a few clear-cut chances in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The Greek whizkid can chip in by scoring and creating the odd goal for his team. Mouzakitis is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also fill in as an attacking midfielder or as a holding midfielder if told to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in La Liga if Los Blancos manage to snap him up next year.

Mouzakitis is already good enough to serve as a good rotational player in Xabi Alonso’s match-day squad. We can expect him to enhance the quality of Real Madrid‘s midfield department in the long run.

At 18, the future looks quite bright for Mouzakitis as long as he continues to improve with each season. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future, so Los Blancos should focus on stepping up their efforts to sign him this winter or at the end of this campaign.
