Aston Villa welcomed Bournemouth at Villa Park earlier today as they looked to earn a win at home in the Premier League. The Villans made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 31st minute when Dominic Solanke scored from the penalty spot. However, Morgan Rogers equalised for the home team in the first half injury-time as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Moussa Diaby gave the Villans the lead in the 57th minute before Leon Bailey went on to kill the game off in the 78th minute. The contest finished with Unai Emery’s men earning an impressive 3-1 win in front of their home fans.
