Everton welcomed Nottingham Forest at Goodison Park earlier this afternoon as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Toffees made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 29th minute when Idrissa Gueye found the back of the net. Sean Dyche’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Dwight McNeil ended up killing the game off in the 76th minute as Everton managed to secure an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch.
LB: Vitaliy Mykolenko – 7/10
He did his best to keep things solid at the back but struggled to make an impact in the final third.
RW: Jack Harrison – 7/10
Harrison was full of energy and running in the middle of the park.
CM: Idrissa Gueye – 8/10
Gueye anchored the midfield with conviction and managed to score the opening goal in the 29th minute.
CM: Andre Gomes – 6/10
He struggled to get into the flow of the game and was replaced in the 66th minute.
LW: Dwight McNeil – 8/10
McNeil came back to defend when needed and was a constant menace in the opponent’s half. He managed to kill the game off in the 76th minute.
CAM: Abdoulaye Doucoure – 7.5/10
He worked his socks off in the opposition half and ended the game with an assist to his name.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 6.5/10
Calvert-Lewin was a real handful for the Nottingham defenders but never looked like he would score.
