Manchester City are all set to lock horns with Copenhagen in the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday. They once again topped their group to advance into the knockout stage. With six wins and no defeat, they are having a perfect run in the competition so far.
The Citizens have won 14 out of their last 15 games across all competitions. With no major injury concern, they will be eager to unleash their full potential and continue their domination under Pep Guardiola. However, City cannot afford to underestimate Copenhagen, who made an impressive display of performances in the group stage.
4-3-3 Manchester City Predicted Lineup Vs Copenhagen
Defence
Ederson will once again line up in goal for City. He has eight clean sheets in his last 15 Champions League matches. At the right-back, Kyle Walker is an automatic pick backed by his impressive performances. John Stones and Ruben Dias will form the heart of the defence.
However, Dias will have to be careful as he is just one booking away from suspension. The left-back position will be filled by the Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol, who is yet to cement his spot in the side.
Midfield
Manchester City‘s midfield will be blessed by the trio of Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri and Bernardo Silva. All three complement each other really well and step up on big occasions. Surprisingly, it’s been more than a year since Rodri lost a match for City.
Attack
While Julian Alvarez will be deployed at the left flank, Phil Foden will take care of the right flank. Foden has been in great form in recent games. He will be expected to show his magic on the field once again. The duo will be accompanied by none other than Erling Haaland.
Haaland has regained their form post the injury as he netted twice against Everton in the Premier League fixture on Saturday. Once again, he will be expected to find the back of the net and help his side register a comfortable victory.
