Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal future is in doubt as the midfielder is yet to receive a contract extension. The 25-year-old has 18 months left on his current contract.
The midfielder was sent on loan to Bournemouth by Arsene Wenger. He was seemingly frustrated for not getting a chance after his career had been plagued by injuries. The midfielder has thrived under Eddie Howe this season and hasn’t been injured off late. He has made 13 starts this season and has an assist to his name.
The midfielder has a contract till 2018 and recently, Arsene Wenger claimed that he would like to offer him a new contract. But since then there have been no talks with the club regarding an extension.
A number of clubs including Manchester City and Everton are monitoring the situation and could make an approach for the player. Wilshere has made over 150 appearances for the Gunners and has 12 goals to his name.
