Maguire Gets 7, Wan-Bissaka With 6 | Manchester United Players Rated In Narrow Loss Vs Newcastle United

Manchester United clashed heads with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a victory on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a solid start to the contest and managed to get to the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.

Anthony Gordon gave the home team the lead in the 55th minute. However, Erik ten Hag’s men failed to mount a comeback and crashed to a narrow 1-0  loss away from home.

GK: Andre Onana – 6.5/10

Onana made a few solid saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6/10

He did his fair share of defending but failed to influence the game in the Newcastle half.

CB: Harry Maguire – 7/10

Maguire did his best to command his penalty box but was a bit wasteful with his passing.

CB: Luke Shaw – 6.5/10

Shaw looked shaky at the back but made one key chance going forward.

LB: Diogo Dalot – 6.5/10

He tried his best to protect his penalty box but lacked quality in the final third.

CM: Scott McTominay – 6/10

McTominay struggled to get into the rhythm of the game and was unfortunate to last the whole 90 minutes.

CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 6/10

He made a few crucial clearances inside his half but struggled to dictate the tempo of the game.

RW: Marcus Rashford – 6/10

Rashford made just one run during the game and was replaced at the hour mark.

CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 6/10

Fernandes caught the eye at times but struggled to influence the game

He showed a glimpse of what he could do. but there was no goal for him.

Martial was quiet for most of the game and was substituted in the 60th minute.
