Manchester City managed to end their long wait for a UEFA Champions League trophy as they beat Inter Milan 1-0 in the final which was held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium recently. By doing so, Pep Guardiola‘s men have completed the treble after they already bagged the FA Cup and the Premier League title earlier this summer.

Manchester City (2022-23)

Ajax were the second team to complete a treble in the 1971-72 campaign.

PSV Eindhoven did the treble in the 1987-88 season.

Manchester United won the treble under the stewardship of Sir Alex Ferguson in the 1998-99 campaign.

Inter Milan managed to pull off the treble in the 2009-10 season which remains the best campaign in the Italian club’s history.
