Liverpool have been boosted in their pursuit of Emil Forsberg’s as his agent has claimed that there is no certainty over his future.
Forsberg has been heavily linked with Liverpool as Klopp is looking to bolster his creative line. Philippe Coutinho’s return has not yet been decided while Sadio Mane has left for the AFCON.
Liverpool wants to test RB Leipzig’s resolve with a £20m bid for the Swedish playmaker. The 25-year old has been a key figure in Leipzig’s excellent form this season as he has netted five goals and assisted nine times.
His agent Hasan Cetinkaya has confirmed that there are offers from few clubs, “I can’t confirm any names.
“But after the great first half of the season, big clubs have reached out to me. RB are on a good way to become a big club, which plays in Champions League soon. In spite of that I can’t promise that Emil will stay in Leipzig this winter.”
