Arsenal are one of the most successful London clubs in English football history as they have won the third-most trophies in the country. They were the first club to do so in a 38-match football league season which remains one of the greatest achievements in the history of club football.
Arsenal icon Thierry Henry finished as the top goal-scorer for that campaign as he banged in 30 league goals to help the Gunners clinch their 13th league title win back in 2004.
Arsene Wenger’s players went on a nine-match winning run at one point during that season which gave them the confidence to go on and win the Premier League title.
Arsenal scored 73 goals and conceded just 26 goals during that campaign and had a goal difference of +47. It remains to be seen whether a football club can ever replicate the Gunners’ remarkable feat of finishing the whole campaign unbeaten.
