Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result on their travels in the Premier League. Spurs made a decent start to the game as they scored the opening goal in the 14th-minute courtesy of Rodrigo Bentancur’s goal. However, the Foxes responded quickly and got themselves level just nine minutes later when Namalys Mendy found the back of the net.
James Maddison completed the turnaround for Leicester in the 25th minute when he scored as well before Kelechi Iheanacho added another goal in the first half injury-time. Tottenham went into the half-time break 3-1 down on the scoreline.
The North London club failed to net the leveler and conceded another goal in the 81st minute when Harvey Barnes scored the Foxes. The match ended with Spurs suffering a humiliating 4-1 loss away from home.
