Tottenham Hotspur will face off against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they try to grind out a win on their travels in the Premier League. Spurs managed to earn an impressive 1-0 win over Manchester City recently which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
Antonio Conte will opt for a 3-4-3 formation and would have no choice but to make one change to his starting XI for this game. Davinson Sanchez is expected to play from the start as Cristian Romero is suspended for this game.
3-4-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Leicester City
Defence
Fraser Forster will operate in goal for Spurs in the injury absence of Hugo Lloris. Conte could name a back three of Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier and Ben Davies as they look to keep the Leicester attackers frustrated during the game.
As mentioned earlier, Cristian Romero is suspended for this game. However, Clement Lenglet will be available for selection on the bench as he offers cover for the centre-back positions.
Midfield
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur will anchor the midfield for the North London club as they look to make life tough for the Foxes at the centre of the park. The energetic duo will also have to move the ball well so that they can offer decent service to their teammates up top.
Ivan Perisic will function as the left-sided wing-back while Emerson Royal hopes to catch the eye on the right flank. Both of them will be given the responsibility to stretch the opposition defence out on the wide areas.
Oliver Skipp and Yves Bissouma will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Heung-min Son will operate as the left-winger as he looks to put in a good showing in the final third.
Dejan Kulusevski would look to weave his magic from the right flank while Harry Kane spearheads the Tottenham attack down the middle. The English centre-forward scored the winning goal for his team in the 1-0 win over Man City earlier this month which will give him a lot of confidence ahead of this game.
Richarlison will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the North London club are in need of a goal by then.
