In a recent report, Tutto Juve stated that Isco wants to join Everton this month. It is understood that the Spanish playmaker, who is currently a free agent, is keen on joining the Toffees.
Isco’s Lackluster Spell At Sevilla Recently
Isco had an underwhelming spell at Sevilla recently as he struggled to be consistent for them in La Liga. The Benalmadena-born talent has made 19 appearances for the Andalusian club this season, netting one goal and grabbing three assists in various competitions.
The Spanish sensation caught the eye at times on the attacking end of the pitch by averaging 1.3 tackles, 1.4 key passes and 0.9 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga football. He was excellent when distributing possession in the opponent’s half after completing 86.8% of his attempted passes in the Spanish first division (stats via whoscored).
Isco is currently a free agent. A player of his experience could serve as a valuable member of Everton’s squad if Sean Dyche is willing to put his faith in the Spaniard to get the Merseyside club out of relegation trouble this season.

Isco remains a decent playmaker in the final third as he can unlock the opposition defence with a killer pass. He can shoot the ball with venom and precision from long range and doesn’t hesitate to make a tackle when needed.
The Spanish talent is a technically gifted footballer and has a wealth of experience at the highest level. However, he doesn’t suit Dyche’s brand of football and could struggle to adapt to the physical nature and high intensity of Premier League football.
Isco is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also play as a left-sided wide player if his manager tells him to do so. However, he has been quite injury-prone in recent years and would need time to settle into life in English football. Still, there is no denying his quality which makes him a worthy option for Everton to consider right now.
At 30, the Spain international might still have a few good years left in him to play at his best. He knows what it takes to win trophies at the highest level and can win a match on his own as well. Thus, the Toffees should think about getting him on board on a short-term contract as he could be an important piece in helping the Merseyside club avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
