Barcelona welcomed Getafe at the Nou Camp earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result in La Liga. The Catalan club made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 35th minute when Pedri found the back of the net. Xavi’s men controlled the game well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Barcelona sat on their lead well and earned a narrow 1-0 victory in front of their home fans which consolidated their position at the top of the La Liga table.

He got stuck in with some solid tackles but got replaced at the half-time break.
CM: Pedri – 7/10
Pedri got stuck in with some crunching tackles at the centre of the park and scored the only goal of the game in the 35th minute.
CM: Sergio Busquets – 7/10
The experienced midfield ace offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and engineered one good chance in the opponent’s half.
CM: Gavi – 7/10
Gavi came back to defend when required and had a few lively moments on the attacking third of the field.
RW: Ousmane Dembele – 7/10
The French winger caused all kinds of problems for the opposition centre-backs but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Ansu Fati – 6/10
Fati made one key chance in the final third but never looked like he would score.
LW: Raphinha – 7/10
The Brazilian picked up an assist for setting up Pedri’s match-winner. He had a quiet game otherwise.

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and was a threat going forward.

Garcia kept things solid at the back.
