Barcelona welcomed Getafe at the Nou Camp earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result in La Liga. The Catalan club made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 35th minute when Pedri found the back of the net. Xavi’s men controlled the game well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Barcelona sat on their lead well and earned a narrow 1-0 victory in front of their home fans which consolidated their position at the top of the La Liga table.

The French talent dealt with the danger when needed and was a strong presence in the air.
