Real Madrid clashed heads with Valencia at King Fahd Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a win in the Supercopa de Espana. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 39th minute when Karim Benzema got his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot. The Madrid giants went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
