Newcastle United locked horns with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn a positive result away from home in the Premier League. The Magpies were solid in the first half and managed to get to the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.
The Tyneside giants defended their penalty box really well in the second 45 minutes and earned a hard-fought 0-0 draw in the English capital.

Burn was a strong presence in the air and made a lot of crucial clearances when defending inside his half.

He worked hard and offered decent protection for his teammates at the back. However, Longstaff offered very little going forward.

The Brazilian midfield ace defended his penalty box with conviction and made some promising runs with the ball.

Willock completed a couple of decent dribbles but failed to make an impact in the final third.

He got stuck in with some solid tackles and made one good opportunity from the right flank.
ST: Callum Wilson – 6/10
Wilson had some lively moments in the game but never looked like he would score.
LW: Joelinton – 7/10
He came back to defend when needed and had a couple of bright moments in the final third.
