Arsenal entertained Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure another win in the Premier League. The Gunners made a dominant start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
It was a similar story in the second 45 minutes as the North London club continued to dominate the game but were toothless on the attacking end of the field. The two teams ended up playing out a scoreless draw in the English capital after the 90 minutes.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale – 7/10
The Gunners’ keeper made one good save in the game and earned an easy clean sheet at home.
RB: Ben White – 7/10
The English talent didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half and made one good chance from the right flank. He ran out of gas and got replaced in the 75th minute.
CB: William Saliba – 7/10
Saliba cleared the danger when needed and did enough to secure a clean sheet tonight. He also won his fair share of 50-50 aerial duels during the game.
CB: Gabriel – 7/10
The Brazilian sensation gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch and was a strong presence in the air.
LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 6.5/10
He didn’t take too many chances when clearing the danger at the back but offered very little going forward.
CM: Martin Odegaard – 7/10
Odegaard created some decent chances for others around him but failed to register a goal.
CM: Thomas Partey – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and made one good chance in the final third.
CM: Granit Xhaka – 7/10
Xhaka created some decent openings for his teammates and was solid when defending at the back.
RW: Bukayo Saka – 6.5/10
The English sensation had a few bright moments in the game but there was no goal for him tonight.
ST: Eddie Nketiah – 6/10
He had a couple of lively moments up top but struggled to threaten the Newcastle goal.
LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 6.5/10
Martinelli was a constant menace down the left flank. However, he failed to take any of his chances to find the back of the net.
