Manchester City faced off against Leeds United at Elland Road earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result away from home in the Premier League. Man City made a dominant start to the game and managed to get themselves ahead in the first half injury-time when Rodri scored with an easy finish. The Mancunian club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Erling Haaland stepped up and scored a quick-fire brace in the second half to put Man City 3-0 up on the night. Pascal Struijk netted a consolation goal for Leeds in the 73rd minute but Pep Guardiola’s men ended up cruising to a comfortable 3-1 win on the road.

Rodri anchored the midfield with conviction and had a few lively moments in the final third. He scored the all-important opening goal for Man City as well.

The German got stuck in with some solid tackles and was a threat going forward.
