Brazil faced off against Serbia at the Lusail Iconic Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Brazilians made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.
Richarlison finally managed to break the deadlock for Tite‘s side in the 62nd minute before going on to score again just 11 minutes later with a superb acrobatic finish. The contest ended with the South American giants earning an impressive 2-0 win in Qatar.

He got stuck in with some crunching tackles and was a real threat in the Serbia half.
RW: Raphinha – 7/10
Raphinha came back to defend when needed and caused a few problems for the opposition from the right flank. However, there was no goal for him tonight.

The Brazilian talent created some inviting chances for others around him but lacked quality in the final third.

He created all kinds of problems for the Serbia defenders and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
ST: Richarlison – 8.5/10
The Tottenham Hotspur forward scored the all-important opener before netting his second goal with a wonderful acrobatic finish. He deserves to be named the man of the match.
