Brazil faced off against Serbia at the Lusail Iconic Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Brazilians made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.

Richarlison finally managed to break the deadlock for Tite‘s side in the 62nd minute before going on to score again just 11 minutes later with a superb acrobatic finish. The contest ended with the South American giants earning an impressive 2-0 win in Qatar.

Let’s take a look at how each Brazil player fared during the match against Serbia.

GK: Alisson Becker – 6.5/10

The Liverpool keeper didn’t have a save to make in the game and secured an easy clean sheet.

RB: Danilo – 7/10

Danilo kept a solid defensive shape at the back and was accurate with his passing.

CB: Marquinhos – 7/10

Marquinhos cleared the danger when needed and made one key chance going forward.

CB: Thiago Silva – 6.5/10

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and did enough to keep the opposition at bay.

LB: Alex Sandro – 7.5/10

Sandro didn’t put a foot wrong in the game defensively and came close to scoring a wonder goal but could only hit the post.

CM: Lucas Paqueta – 7/10

The Brazilian sensation anchored the midfield with conviction and engineered one good chance in the final third.

CM: Casemiro – 8/10

He got stuck in with some crunching tackles and was a real threat in the Serbia half.

RW: Raphinha – 7/10

Raphinha came back to defend when needed and caused a few problems for the opposition from the right flank. However, there was no goal for him tonight.

CAM: Neymar Jr. – 6.5/10

The Brazilian talent created some inviting chances for others around him but lacked quality in the final third.

LW: Vinicius Jr. – 8/10

He created all kinds of problems for the Serbia defenders and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

ST: Richarlison – 8.5/10

The Tottenham Hotspur forward scored the all-important opener before netting his second goal with a wonderful acrobatic finish. He deserves to be named the man of the match.

CM: Fred – 6/10

He added some energy to Tite’s midfield.

RW: Rodrygo – 6/10

Rodrygo was a threat in the final third.

ST: Gabriel Jesus – 6/10
