Everton welcomed Leicester City at Goodison Park earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a positive result at home. The Toffees made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 45th minute when Youri Tielemans scored a stunning goal. Frank Lampard’s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.
The Merseyside club conceded their second goal in the 86th minute as they crashed to a poor 2-0 defeat in front of their home fans.

Mykolenko made a lot of crucial clearances at the back and made one good chance from the left flank.

He made a few decent chances in the final third and got stuck in with a couple of solid tackles.
CM: Idrissa Gueye – 6.5/10
Gueye anchored the midfield well in the first half but got substituted at half-time.
CM: Amadou Onana – 6/10
He struggled to get a foothold in the game but engineered one key chance in the final third. Onana could only last 60 minutes before he was replaced by Lampard.
RW: Demarai Gray – 6.5/10
Gray made two good chances in the opponent’s half but failed to find the back of the net.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 6.5/10
The English forward had a few bright moments in the game but struggled to finish off any of his chances.
LW: Dwight McNeil – 6/10
He was quiet for most of the contest and was fortunate to last 70 minutes.
