Arsenal will entertain Nottingham Forest as they welcome them to Emirates Stadium on Sunday to secure all three points. The Gunners will come into the match on the back of a 2-0 defeat against PSV in the Europa League contest. The English division leaders will be looking to bounce back and produce a better result to widen the gap between them and their title contenders as they head into the Premier League match-up.
Mikel Arteta could set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation but is expected to make quite a lot of changes to the playing XI for this away encounter. Gabriel Jesus will return to the striker position to lead the charge against the opposition while Aaron Ramsdale continues in goal for his side.

Defence
As mentioned earlier, Ramsdale will function in between the sticks for the Gunners after keeping a clean sheet in the European contest. William Saliba will continue at the back alongside Gabriel who replaces Rob Holding at the heart of Arsenal’s backline.
Takehiro Tomiyasu will play in the left-back position while Ben White fills in on the other side as the right-back. Both of them must keep a good defensive shape at the back and get forward to stretch the opposition.
Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding will provide cover for the defensive positions and could come on in the second half if required.
Midfield
Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey will feature in the holding midfield positions as they try to dominate the battle at the centre of the park and distribute the ball efficiently to their teammates.
Martin Odegaard will feature in the advanced attacking midfield position as he will be tasked with creating some decent opportunities for others around him.
Albert Sambi Lokonga and Fabio Vieira will be named on the bench and could be called into the match in the second half if required.
Attack
Gabriel Martinelli will continue to put his pace to good use on the left flank while Bukayo Saka returns to the right as he hopes to produce an influential display.
As mentioned earlier, Gabriel Jesus will lead the charge for Arsenal on the attacking end of the field as he fancies his chances of finding the back of the net and getting his name on the scoresheet.
Eddie Nketiah will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Arteta opts to call upon his services.
