Barcelona are also keen on securing his services next year, however, the Reds are tipped to be leading the race with the German’s current deal set to expire by the closure of the ongoing campaign.
The 17-year-old attacker spent a couple of years in the academy ranks of FC St. Pauli before joining Borussia Dortmund’s youth setup. He has always been ahead of the other youngsters who belong to the same age group and his Bundesliga debut a couple of years ago made him the youngest player ever to play in the League. It was a day after turning sixteen when he replaced Erling Haaland against Hertha BSC and the young sensation is now emerging as the Norwegian’s natural successor at Signal Iduna Park.
Moukoko also became the youngest-ever Champions League footballer a few days later and then went on to be the youngest scorer of the Bundesliga when he fired in against Union Berlin back in December 2020. He has broken many a record already this early in his career and the heavyweights across Europe are circling like vultures to have him in their squad.
