AC Milan entertained Chelsea at San Siro earlier tonight as they looked to secure a positive result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Milan giants made a poor start to the game as they suffered a huge setback in the 18th minute when Fikayo Tomori was sent off by the referee. The Blues capitalized on their numerical advantage and managed to open the goal-scoring in the 21st minute courtesy of Jorginho’s penalty. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled Chelsea’s advantage just 13 minutes later as AC Milan went into the half-time interval 2-0 down on the scoreline.
The Italian outfit failed to come up with a response in the second half and crashed to a disappointing 2-0 loss in front of their home fans.
