When Did The Spanish National Team First Win The World Cup?
Spain won their first and only World Cup on 11 July 2010 when they beat the Netherlands in the final with a solitary Andreas Iniesta goal separating the two teams on the night. Vicente Del Bosque was the mastermind behind their excellent World Cup triumph in South Africa.

How Many Times Has Spain Won The World Cup?
Spain has won the World Cup just once in their history. As mentioned earlier, it came in 2010 when they beat the Netherlands in the final to become world champions for the first time in South Africa. Spain was also the first European nation to win the World Cup outside of their continent.
Iker Casillas ended up winning the Golden Glove award in that tournament while Andreas Iniesta was named the man of the match for his goal-scoring performance in the final. Spain went on to win the UEFA Euro 2012 trophy but were eliminated in the group stages of the 2014 FIFA World Cup which took place in Brazil.

Spain will take on Costa Rica in their first World Cup group stage game on November 23 before going on to face Germany in a mouth-watering clash just four days later. The Spaniards will finish their World Cup group-stage matches with a contest versus Japan at the start of December.
However, their main goal would be to go on a deep run in this year’s World Cup and make it to the final which will be held at the Lusail Stadium on December 18.
