In a recent report, Metro has mentioned that West Ham United are in talks with Chelsea over their young talent Armando Broja. It is understood that Broja has given an ultimatum to the Blues stating that he will be looking to move away if he doesn’t find himself in the starting XI for the pre-season tournaments.
Broja’s Impressive Loan Spell At Southampton
Broja had a fruitful loan spell at Southampton in his last campaign after putting in some influential displays being the focal point of Ralph Hasenhüttl’s attack. He scored nine goals and created one assist over 38 appearances for the Saints last season across all fronts.
The Albania international impressed on the attacking end of the field after averaging 1.4 shots and 1.0 dribbles per game in the Premier League. However, he needs to find a way to improve on his ball distribution after only completing 61.4% of his attempted passes in the top tier of English football (stats via whoscored).

Is He A Decent Fit For West Ham United Boss David Moyes?
Broja can lead the line well and remains an adept finisher in front of the opponent’s goal. He has got the pace to get in behind the opposition and create space for himself. He can convert the chances created for him by his teammates with a little more confidence playing regularly.
The 20-year-old can improve with each season and has the potential to become a deadly finisher if he works on his link-up play. He can cover for the striking position and can even feature on the right-wing position when required, which makes him a decent fit for the East London club.
David Moyes has done well to identify him as a potential target and he should be able to lure him to the London Stadium for the right price. However, Tuchel has gone forward to offer a swap deal for Declan Rice which the Hammers could never agree upon. The West Ham boss is wise to have taken a clear stance in that matter. He would only bring in Broja over a decent transfer fee without an exchange.
