According to a recent report by Express, it is being revealed that Frenkie De Jong could Exit Barcelona as he is now a top target for Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag will probably look to reunite with the former Ajax Midfielder.
The report also states that a swap deal could’ve been in place but Manchester United have now decided to go along tempting the Catalan club with a cash offer.
Frenkie De Jong’s Decent Run With Barcelona This Season
The 25-year-old midfielder is having a decent campaign at Camp Nou this season. He has scored 4 goals and created 5 assists over 45 appearances for the Catalan club this season across all fronts.
The former Ajax Talent has been a consistent performer for the Spanish giants this season based on his average of 0.4 shots, 1.4 key passes and 1.6 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga football. The Netherlands international has remained a regular in the first eleven for Barcelona both under Ronald Koeman and Xavi Hernandez. The midfielder’s skillset is prolific and extraordinary, as many would go on to agree that the 25-year-old has that special something.
