Thomas Tuchel will probably opt for the 3-4-3 formation with a  couple of tweaks from the previous match. N’Golo Kante might get the nod over Mateo Kovacic in midfield, whereas Cesar Azpiliceuta looks likely to make his way back into the starting eleven.

3-4-3 Chelsea Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace

Defence

Edouard Mendy is expected to start between the sticks for the upcoming clash.

Thiago Silva is expected to start at the heart of the Blues’ backline, whereas Antonio Rudiger will feature at the left centre-back spot. James Reece will fulfil the right centre-back position.

Midfield

Kovacic’s absence opens the door for N’Golo Kante to slot straight back into the holding position along with Jorginho in the central midfield.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso ought to hold their spots in the wide areas.

Attack

Mason Mount and Timo Werner could both be fit enough to hold their places in the final third. Kai Havertz is in line for rest, with Romelu Lukaku looking to terrorise the Arsenal backline as he did earlier this season.
