Chelsea welcomed Crystal Palace at the Wembley Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn a positive result and book a place in the final of the FA Cup. Both sides fought tooth and nail in the first half but failed to make the decisive breakthrough as they went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek finally broke the deadlock in the 65th minute when Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored his first goal of this campaign. Mason Mount doubled Chelsea’s advantage just 11 minutes later with a good finish. The contest ended with the Blues securing a 2-0 win in the FA Cup.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the contest against the Eagles.

GK: Edouard Mendy – 7/10

Mendy made a couple of solid saves at the back and did enough to earn the clean sheet at Wembley.

CB: Reece James – 7/10

James cleared his lines when required and earned the ball back a couple of times for his team.

CB: Andreas Christensen – 7/10

He made multiple clearances at the back and made one key chance in the attacking end of the field.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 7/10

The German centre-back was solid when defending inside his half and performed well enough to keep the Eagles at bay during the 90 minutes.
