Newcastle United entertained Leicester City at St. James’ Park earlier this afternoon as they look to secure maximum points at home. The Magpies made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 19th minute when Ademola Lookman found the back of the net. However, Bruno Guimaraes equalised for the Tyneside outfit just 11 minutes later as both sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
The Magpies struggled to score another goal in the second half but finally found it in the fifth minute of injury time when Guimaraes scored with a good finish. The contest ended with the Tyneside outfit earning a 2-1 win at home.

Joelinton offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and engineered some decent chances in the attacking end of the pitch.

He made a few decent runs with the ball down the right flank but didn’t do enough to score.

Wood was strong in the air as usual but didn’t get a sniff at goal.
LW: Allan Saint-Maximin – 7/10
The talented speedster was a constant menace in the final third and made a couple of inviting chances in the opponent’s half.
