Newcastle United entertained Leicester City at St. James’ Park earlier this afternoon as they look to secure maximum points at home. The Magpies made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 19th minute when Ademola Lookman found the back of the net. However, Bruno Guimaraes equalised for the Tyneside outfit just 11 minutes later as both sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

The Magpies struggled to score another goal in the second half but finally found it in the fifth minute of injury time when Guimaraes scored with a good finish. The contest ended  with the Tyneside outfit earning a 2-1 win at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Newcastle player fared during the match against the Foxes.

GK: Martin Dubravka – 6/10

The Magpies keeper made one good save in the game but will be disappointed after conceding an early goal.

RB: Emil Krafth – 7/10

Krafth was defensively solid inside his half and struggled to influence the game in the final third.

CB: Fabian Schar – 6/10

He cleared his lines when needed and made one key chance going forward.

CB: Dan Burn – 7/10

Burn made a few important clearances at the back and created one good chance in the final third.
