Barcelona locked horns with Levante at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points from this away clash. The Catalan outfit made a solid start to the contest but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.
Surprisingly, the home team took the lead in the 52nd minute courtesy of Jose Luis Morales’ penalty. However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised for Barca just seven minutes later with a powerful header before Pedri completed the turnaround by getting his name on the scoresheet in the 63rd minute. However, Levante refused to give up without a fight and equalised via Gonzalo Melero’s penalty in the 83rd minute. Luuk de Jong came off the bench and netted the winning goal for Barca with a good header in injury-time as Xavi’s men ended up securing a last-gasp 3-2 win on the road.
Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player performed during the clash against Levante.
