Barcelona locked horns with Levante at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points from this away clash. The Catalan outfit made a solid start to the contest but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.

Surprisingly, the home team took the lead in the 52nd minute courtesy of Jose Luis Morales’ penalty. However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised for Barca just seven minutes later with a powerful header before Pedri completed the turnaround by getting his name on the scoresheet in the 63rd minute. However, Levante refused to give up without a fight and equalised via Gonzalo Melero’s penalty in the 83rd minute. Luuk de Jong came off the bench and netted the winning goal for Barca with a good header in injury-time as Xavi’s men ended up securing a last-gasp 3-2 win on the road.

Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player performed during the clash against Levante.

GK: Marc-André ter Stegen – 7.5/10

The German keeper made a few crucial saves including one penalty. However, he will be disappointed after conceding two goals from the penalty spot.

RB: Dani Alves – 6/10

He had a tough game at the back but made one good run going forward.

CB: Ronald Araujo – 6.5/10

Araujo was a solid presence on the defensive end of the field. He earned possession back a couple of times and cleared his lines when needed.

CB: Eric Garcia – 7/10

The Spaniard defended his penalty area with a lot of conviction and won a couple of aerial duels as well.

CM: Nico Gonzalez – 6.5/10

He made two exciting runs with the ball but got replaced in the 55th minute.

CM: Sergio Busquets – 6.5/10

The Spanish talent was tidy with his passing and used his experience well during the game.

CM: Frenkie de Jong – 6/10

He struggled to get into the flow of the game and was substituted in the 56th minute.

RW: Ousmane Dembele – 8/10

Dembele completed multiple dribbles down the right flank and managed to engineer some meaningful openings for his teammates in the final third. He ended the game with an assist to his name.

ST: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 7/10

He got his name on the scoresheet with a decent header in the 59th minute. Aubameyang offered very little otherwise in the opposition half.

Torres had a few shot attempts but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

CM: Pedri – 7.5/10

Pedri came off the bench and scored just after the hour mark to give Barca the lead for the first time on the night.
