It has been mentioned that the Toffees could face competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers in pursuit of the Brazilian talent who could have his Shakhtar contract annulled because of Russia’s recent invasion of Ukraine.
Pedrinho’s Impressive Form In European Football This Season
The 23-year-old was having a decent season in Ukrainian football as he managed to catch the eye by putting in a few impressive displays on the right side of Shakhtar’s attack. Pedrinho has banged in four goals and provided three assists in 19 matches for the Ukrainian outfit during this campaign across various competitions.
The Brazilian wing wizard has proven himself to be a consistent performer in Europe where he is averaging 2.5 shots, 1.5 key passes and 2.5 dribbles per game in the UEFA Champions League. He was even excellent when distributing possession in the opponent’s half based on his pass success rate of 89.5% in European football (stats via whoscored).

What Will Pedrinho Bring To Everton?
Pedrinho is proficient at getting a few shots in on-target and can strike the ball with venom and accuracy from long range. He has got the vision to play a few decisive passes in the attacking end of the field and is usually an exciting dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Brazilian talent hardly gives away the ball cheaply and has got his best years ahead of him. He is primarily a right-sided wide player but can even fill in as a left-winger or operate as an attacking midfielder down the middle. Hence, Everton should consider recruiting him on loan or permanently this year.
