Newcastle United locked horns with West Ham United at the London Stadium earlier today as they focused on grinding out a good result on their travels. The Magpies made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 32nd minute when Craig Dawson scored with a powerful header for West Ham. However, Joe Willock equalised for the Magpies in the first half injury-time to make it 1-1 at half-time.
Both sides canceled each other out in the second 45 minutes as the contest finished with a 1-1 scoreline at East London.
