Manchester United faced off against Brentford at the Brentford Community Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points on their travels. The Red Devils were solid in the first half but failed to break the opposition down as they went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
The Mancunian giants made a quick start to the second half and got their noses ahead in the 55th minute courtesy of Anthony Elanga’s finish from close range. Mason Greenwood doubled his team’s advantage just seven minutes later before Marcus Rashford made it 3-0 to Man United with a clinical finish. Ivan Toney scored a consolation goal for Brentford in the 85th minute as the Red Devils came away with a 3-1 win from West London.
