West Ham United welcomed Leeds United at the London Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a victory and book a spot in the next round of the FA Cup. The Hammers made a good start to the contest and got their noses ahead in the 34th minute when Manuel Lanzini scored after a check from VAR. David Moyes’ men defended their lead well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Leeds kept themselves in the game in the second half. However, Jarrod Bowen ended up sealing the win for West Ham when he got his name on the scoresheet in injury-time as the match finished 2-0 in favour of the Hammers.

The English midfield ace secured possession back a couple of times and made a few good runs from midfield.

Soucek anchored the midfield with conviction but offered very little in the Leeds half.
RW: Jarrod Bowen – 9/10
The English speedster caused all kinds of problems for the Leeds defenders and got rewarded for his efforts with an injury-time goal.
CAM: Manuel Lanzini – 7.5/10
Lanzini completed a few decent dribbles in the final third and scored the opening goal for West Ham with a good finish.
LW: Nikola Vlasic – 7.5/10
Vlasic made some dangerous runs with the ball and created a few inviting chances for others around him.
ST: Michail Antonio – 7/10
The English forward made a few meaningful openings for his teammates in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
