Leeds United locked horns with West Ham United at the London Stadium earlier today as they focused on grinding out a positive result on their travels. The Whites conceded the opening goal in the 34th minute when Manuel Lanzini netted the opener following a check from VAR. The visitors failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Marcelo Bielsa’s players stayed in the game for most of the second half but conceded their second goal in injury-time when Jarrod Bowen found the back of the net. The match ended with the Whites suffering a 2-0 loss which knocked them out of the FA Cup.

Let’s take a look at how each Leeds player performed during the match against the Hammers.

GK: Illan Meslier – 7.5/10

The Whites goalie made multiple saves during the game but will be disappointed for conceding a goal in each half.

RB: Luke Ayling – 6.5/10

Ayling made a couple of important defensive contributions but failed to make an impact in the final third.

CB: Diego Llorente – 7/10

The Spaniard won the ball back multiple times during the game and was strong in the air.

CB: Leo Hjelde – 6.5/10

He cleared the danger when needed and won possession back a couple of times. Hjelde ended up lasting 77 minutes.
