Real Madrid locked horns with Granada at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes earlier today as they focused on picking up all three points on their travels. Los Blancos made a good start to the game and took the lead in the 19th minute courtesy of Marco Asensio’s brilliant run and finish. Nacho doubled the away team’s advantage just six minutes later with a good finish from close range. However, Granada pulled a goal back in the 34th minute via Luis Suarez’s deflected attempt. The Madrid giants went into the half-time interval with a narrow 2-1 lead.
Vinicius Junior got his name on the scoresheet in the 56th minute with a tap-in before Granada’s Monchu received a red card just 11 minutes later. Ferland Mendy added another goal for his team in the 76th minute as Carlo Ancelotti’s men ended up running away with a 4-1 win from Andalusia.

The ex-Bayern Munich talent did what was required of him defensively and got replaced in the 82nd minute.
LB: Ferland Mendy – 8/10
The French left-back was solid at the back and engineered a few excellent chances for his teammates to score. He even scored Real Madrid’s fourth goal in the 76th minute.
CM: Luka Modric – 7.5/10
The veteran midfielder was always looking to set up his teammates in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Casemiro – 7/10
The Brazilian midfield ace anchored the midfield really well and made life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park. He ended the game with an assist to his name.
CM: Toni Kroos – 8/10
The German sensation was quite lively with the ball at his feet and managed to secure two assists during his time on the pitch.
RW: Marco Asensio – 8.5/10
Asensio opened the goal-scoring for the Madrid outfit and was a constant menace in the attacking end of the field.
ST: Karim Benzema – 7.5/10
The French striker caused a lot of problems for the Granada centre-backs but there was no goal for him today.
LW: Vinicius Junior – 8.5/10
The Brazilian wing wizard made a handful of exciting runs with the ball and was a real goal-threat from the left wing. He scored Los Blancos’ third goal with an easy tap-in.
